The eldery group was founded on April 5, 2026 by Rev .Fr John Bosco Musinguzi ,based in San Diego California ,USA in collaboration with the lay people of kiwoko catholic community .the goal and vision of the outreach relief ministry is to address their social ,emotional ,spiritual and psychological needs that they live a life of hope and diginity to experience a dignified life .the project started with 25 eldery people now supporting 40 eldery ,irrespective of their faith ,tradition ,who are 80 yrs of age and above .the project was stalled by COVID 19 ,but it resumed .the priest shared with a catholic nun ,Sr .immaculate Nakato SMR about the project of the eldery and asked if she was interested to work with the local community to build a leadership structure to run the project ,register the group in local government and to provide guidance on how a congregation of nuns could take over the management of the project .fortunately ,the sister agreed to volunteer to give the project a chance for the good of the eldery .with her support and committed services ,the group is now operating as a community based organization (CBO).
